ESP systems installed by Southern Procurement Services will help to increase oil production for their clients

Supervisors and technicians in charge of this project ensure this new equipment will drive up gross for their clients up to 450 bdp per day.

(SPS Press, 10-04-2018) .- Electrosumergible pumping systems (ESP) installed by Southern Procurement Services will help to increase gross production for their clients in offshore operations, so explained by the board directors and engineers leading the project

We are talking about a 5.38″ diameter equipment made from carbon steel, with a gross range of 400 to 2400 bdp. This equipment can carry out heavy lifting on phases of 54.27 feet, working on a 55% of Barrel of oil equivalent potential (BOE)

These pumps have deeper drilling capability, considering it has stronger driving on blow out pressure, according to housing material foundation.

The pump system is made of one single engine type model ESP 562 Standard, with 1 engine of 330 HP, 3895 volts, and 51.5 amps capacity.

This system has a squirrel-cage type induction, with two poles of three-phases running on a speed of approx 60Hz to 3600 RPM. The engine uses transformer oil to a homogeneously cooling process by using the entire component, also includes holes for constant lubrication.

isolation improved, circulating oil lubrication system optimized, carbon an stainless steel material are some of the features taken into consideration by Southern Procurement Services on the ESP selection for the project. making it into an ideal project for offshore well installation since it provides a long life product and profitability activities.

Transformers, the ideal complement

SPS installed new transformers on the well, pushing up a better pumping performance and better profitability, In order to guarantee the optimal operations of the electric submersible pumping system.

These transformers settings include single and three phases power machine holding differents output voltage ranges for artificial lifting equipment artificial lifting equipment

Finally, Southern Procurement Services added new frequency variators (VSD), in order to guarantee adequate gross pumping according to oil level in each well.

PULSTEM VSD line can provide a dual frequency power supply of 50/60 Hz to 600 V. Plus, it included engine controlling monitoring for indicating pumping operation performance.

The installation has 6 new VSD set, transformers, and lifting, all this in order to guarantee the top performance in offshore operations of SPS clients, leading to a best productivity and reservoirs profitability.
