SPS representatives achieved commercial agreements with Halliburton, Covalent Traiding Group, and with Exceed Oilfield Equipment, one of the exclusive representative of Sucker Rod, Couplings, among others
(05-11-2018., SPS Press).- On a fifth consecutive time, Southern Procurement Services (SPS) attended the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), that gathered together oil and gas professionals from around the world.
This conference was attended by 3,000 exponents and was held at the NGR Park in Houston, Texas, this was one of the many occasions when SPS restates its operational vision for further expansion worldwide.
Jeffry Carreño, Procurement services manager, led as the main representative in SPS delegation, in order to offer supply services and integrated solutions for the oil industry, also to strengthen bonds with suppliers in the energy field.
Carreño stated that, through this type of event’s participation, SPS makes a strong presence in the Latin American and the global market. “We met with a large number of companies that had never been contacted before and still they were aware of our operations, also with others whom we already contacted, this opened gates for us in a pleasant way to maintain business opportunities,” he explained.
He declared that the whole SPS commission could meet more than 3000 exponents that participated in the OTC, which suggests a very positive expectation for the company.
Among the companies that participated on interaction with SPS by trying to look for expansion business possibilities and strengthing commercial bonds, Halliburton stands out, for Mexico operation field evaluations, also participated Covalent Traiding Group, bringing in a product increase in chemical products commercialization in Latin America, likewise Exceed Oilfield Equipment brought Sucker Rod, Couplings business to several regions in South America.
Among other companies, it was evaluated to retake negotiations with GRC Sercel, in order to regularize a partnership between the companies, GRC specializes in downhole sensors for artificial lift systems; another one in consideration was Daurex, where it was evaluated to obtain Latin American representation for progressive cavity pumps.
Triol, who already has a regional representation of their products in latin America, was another of the companies that interacted with SPS in the OTC, aiming to agree on a representative extension in other countries such as Mexico, Peru, Chile, Colombia, among others.
Finally, Possible agreements were explored with Nacheon, Gowell, Sauer, Most, Huatong, Subtor and Geops aiming to reconfirm SPS decision in offering integrated solutions for the oil industry in Latin America,
